CHE SUDAKA combines Argentinian and Colombian musicians which were known in Barcelona's Old Town, meeting point for busker's from all over the world and source of inspiration for a fusion of various styles. Right from the start, the band has shown their protest nature which lead the band to reflect social issues in their lyrics. Most of their songs look at immigration, social inequality and the conflict of interests that look down on human being. In 2002 the band began to play in Barcelona: the streets, the bars, the tube and the suburban trains were their first stages. The band was first noticed internationally through their contribution SIN PAPELES on the sampler LA COLIFATA, which represents the mestizo scene of Barcelona.

The album is a product of many different musical influences: a journey through reggae, ragga, punk-latin and argentinian folklore. A subsequent tour followed through Europe (France, Belgium, Italy, Spain). More than 300 shows and lots of friends from all over the world… a great influence for their second album: ALERTA BIHOTZA!!! (2005)

It is a multicultural album that takes the listener to the reggae-punk energy the band irradiates in their live shows. For the production, the band enlisted Gambeat, Radio Bemba's bassist, who is the responsible both for the harder sound and for the elaboration of their extreme energetic live show. The album also counts on some special guests appearances: Fermin Muguruza (Kortatu, Negu Gorriak), Yacine (Cheb Balowski), Dede Trake (Cannabistro), Gambeat (Radio Bemba, French Lovers, Piratas Urbanos) and Lina (Azaiza). As when they played in the streets of Barcelona, their positive energy and the willingness to give it all to the audience are the most remarkable attributes of CHE SUDAKA.

CHE SUDAKA nacio en el corazon del barrio gotico de Barcelona, concretamente en la PLAZA del TRIPPI, lugar donde muchos musicos intercambian sus culturas y vivencias musicales. El nucleo de la banda surge de los antiguos integrantes de CORRECAMINOS, banda de la costa atlantica Argentina, que junto a musicos del barrio, dieron vida al proyecto.

Actualmente esta fomada por musicos argentinos y colombianos.La banda, desde los inicios, se nutre de un espiritu reivindicativo que apunta hacia la causa social, reflejada en sus letras. Temas como la inmigracion, desigualdades sociales o las guerras de intereses que desprecian el peso de la humanidad, se pueden encontrar en cualquiera de los temas de CHE SUDAKA. No fue casualidad entonces que el primer concierto haya sido por un motivo de reivindicacion popular: "Salvem al carrer Carabassa". Dicho concierto fue en apoyo a una vieja calle del barrio que estaba a punto de ser devorada por la especulacion inmobiliaria. A partir de aqui, el proyecto crece. La banda comienza a tocar por Barcelona (bares musicales, trenes, en la calle…) y logra gran difusion distribuyendo el compilado "LA COLIFATA", un CD donde aparece con la cancion "SIN PAPELES". En ese momento, aparece en la historia RADIOCHANGO.com, proponiendo cooperar con la edicion del disco. Asi CHE SUDAKA entra en internet, logrando a traves de este medio, repercusion en paises como FRANCIA, ALEMANIA, BELGICA, ITALIA, MEXICO, ARGENTINA, etc.

En enero del 2003, sale a la luz "TRIPPI TOWN" con 10 canciones que van del ragga al reggae, pasando por el rock y el punk-latin. Las canciones mas destacadas del disco son: "COSMOPOLITAN TIME", "LA GUERRA ES POR DENTRO", "LA CACEROLA", "BAM*BAM", "SIN PAPELES", "MIRANDO EL MUNDO AL REVES". A raiz de esto, CHE SUDAKA comienza una gira ininterrumpida recorriendo paises como ESPAÑA, FRANCIA, BELGICA, e ITALIA, acumulando asi mas de 180 conciertos y muchos amigos de diferentes culturas, lo cual influye definitivamente en el segundo disco de la banda llamado "ALERTA BIHOTZA"!!!! (bihotza, en euskera, significa CORAZON) Es un disco de espiritu multicultural con canciones cantadas en CASTELLANO, INGLES, PORTUGUES, FRANCES, ITALIANO y EUSKERA. La musica apunta a la energia REGGAE-PUNKY que la banda desarrolla en su directo; cuenta con la produccion de GAMBEAT, bajista de Radio Bemba, y las colaboraciones especiales de Fermin Muguruza, Gambeat, Yacine de Cheb Balowski, Dede Trake, Julio Lobo y Lina de Azaiza entre otros. Fue grabado en los estudios de "LA FUNDICIO" de L'Hospitalet de Llobregat y es editado y distribuido por K Industria. El disco salio a la venta a mediados de Junio de 2005. CHE SUDAKA es hoy en dia una banda potente en su musica y directa en sus letras, sea cual sea el idioma en el que se canten!!

Acaban de lanzar su tercer CD/DVD "Mirando el mundo al reves" producido por ellos mismos y con colaboraciones especiales de Amparanoia,Karamelo Santo,Un Kuartito,Oli,entre otros.
